Who we are
This website is operated by Syxacorp sl, with registered office at C/ Polibea, 3 local 3A, 28027 Madrid, Spain, tax identification number CIF: B87977104.
Our website address is https://www.syxacorp.com. You can contact us at any time at info@syxacorp.com or on +34 645 538 969.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law, we are the data controller for the personal data described below.
What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address and the content of your message. We use this information solely to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to continue the conversation about a property.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
Property enquiries and viewings
If your enquiry develops into an active search, a viewing or a transaction, we may collect further information you choose to share with us, such as your phone number, your budget, your timeline and your requirements for a property. We use this only to advise you properly and to prepare the documents a transaction requires.
Where a transaction proceeds, some of this data is processed to comply with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering and tax requirements.
Technical data
Like most websites, our server automatically records technical information each time a page is requested: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site secure and working correctly, and to diagnose problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function, including a temporary cookie that checks whether your browser accepts cookies.
If you have an account on this site and log in, we set cookies that store your login state and display preferences. Login cookies last two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember me”. Display preference cookies last one year. Logging out removes them.
[If you use analytics or marketing cookies, describe them here and make sure the consent banner blocks them until the visitor accepts. If you do not use any, delete this paragraph.]
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content such as videos, maps or virtual tours. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that website directly. Those providers may collect data about you, set their own cookies and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, particularly if you have an account with them and are logged in. We have no control over that processing and recommend reading their own privacy policies.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
We share it only where necessary, with:
- our hosting provider, Aruba Hosting, which stores the site and its database on our behalf;
- our email provider, which processes messages sent to and from us;
- professional advisers such as lawyers, notaries and accountants, where a transaction requires it;
- public authorities, where we are legally obliged to disclose information.
All providers acting on our behalf are bound by data processing agreements and may use your data only on our instructions.
Where your data is stored
Our servers and providers are located within the European Economic Area. If any provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
Contact form enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from our last exchange, so that we can pick up a conversation if you come back to us, and then deleted.
Data relating to a completed transaction is kept for the period required by Spanish commercial, tax and anti-money-laundering law, which is generally between 6 and 10 years depending on the document.
Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where we are not legally required to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we process your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@syxacorp.com. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), www.aepd.es.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the site’s administration area and regular updates to the underlying software. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk as low as possible.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
